“Voice of Freedom from Prison” is more than a print release. It spreads truth and chronicles courage—the stories of women and men fighting for freedom.
The newspaper prints letters from political prisoners and heartfelt messages from their families to the people of Georgia, letting every reader feel their pain, resolve, and hope.
Project authors and initiators: Medea Metreveli, Ana Gogoladze, Barbara Jimeli Sulashvili, Teona Chlaidze.
“Greetings from Cell 101 of Building E in Gldani N8 Penitentiary. We political prisoners follow events closely and refuse to stand aside. Prison is only a physical barrier; it cannot silence free spirits. We continue the fight from behind bars. Our voice reaches you through this newspaper.
The goal of ‘Cell 101’ is to spark national and European awareness and to show comrades behind bars that we keep fighting. We remain true to our oath and continue the struggle for Georgia’s European, democratic future. Long live our country!”
“Cell 101 – Free Newspaper” is created in prison by political prisoner Zviad Tsetskhladze—oppositional, revolutionary, and informative by nature.
